Are you an innovative and motivated Occupational Therapist? Our client is looking for an OT to fill a permanent position in a skilled nursing facility. This role will treat long and short-term patients to increase their functional independence, social participation, and quality of life through the therapeutic use of Activities of Daily Living. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with an option to switch out a day to work on a weekend. Productivity expectation is 90-95% monthly.

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
Assist your patients in meeting functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
New graduates or experienced therapists welcome to apply
Valid Illinois state OT License
Ability to work effectively with clients and to work cooperatively with others
Ability to work independently
Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude

Compensation and Benefits of the Occupational Therapist
$40 - $50 per hour, based on experience
