Our client is looking for a PTA to fill a permanent position in a skilled nursing facility. This Physical Therapist Assistant will treat long and short-term patients with focus on balance, mobility, functional independence, pain control, and overall quality of life. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with an option to switch out a day to work on a weekend. Productivity expectation is 90-95% monthly. The facility is a 213-bed intermediate and skilled care facility that offers a full range of services. $1360 - $1520 Gross per week, based on experience

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant
Work as part of a team to provide quality skilled nursing physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist
Assist your patients in meeting functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.
Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.

Requirements of the Skilled Nursing Physical Therapist Assistant
Valid Illinois state PTA License
Completion of PTA Accredited Program
Ability to work effectively with clients and to work cooperatively with others
Ability to work independently
Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude
