Job Description
Are you a licensed physical therapist looking for a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to maximize your pay? If so, we are assisting our client in Yakima, Washington, to find a compassionate and confident physical therapist for a travel job. This job is at an outpatient clinic. Work four 10s or five 8s, our client is flexible! Treat two patients per hour. The PT will have a full-time aide to work with. Our client is open to a temp to perm PT.
Yakima is known for its wineries and apple orchards. There is so much to do in the area on your days off from biking, hiking and skiing.
Compensation and Benefits of the PT
- Pay: $44 - $48 per hour Based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*

Responsibilities of the Outpatient Physical Therapist
- Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
- Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers to promote the patients' level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals
- Restores patients' function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.
- Instructs patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies.
Requirements of the Outpatient Physical Therapist
- Prefer a therapist with Outpatient experience, but all interested therapists are encouraged to apply
- Valid Washington State PT License
- Degree from PT Accredited College
- Pelvic Floor Experience a plus!
- Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude
