Job Description
This job is part-time, three days a week, working with approximately 23 students. This job could be full-time if you are willing to go between two campuses. Our client is pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school. Their innovative approach focuses on strong relationship-building, student-well being and joy, and challenging curriculum to ensure student success, while addressing both academic and social-emotional needs in order to educate the "whole child." A Covid vaccine is not required.
Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist
The Speech Pathologist provides support and conducts student assessments in all areas of communication development. Working in cooperation with network supervisors, teachers, parents, and students, the Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language, and hearing disorders to improve the communication development and ensure access to the general education curriculum.
Requirements of the School Speech Language Pathologist
Possess a valid Michigan Teacher Certification with a Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement
Masters Degree in Speech Pathology & Communication Disorders
Valid Speech Language License
Compensation and Benefits of the School Speech Language Pathologist
Pay: $30 - $35 per hour based on experience
